SUPERB fundraisers have come up with all sorts of events to support the hospice.
Fitness sessions called Yogabox were run by Heidi Kelsey and raised £105.
Staff at the Royal Hotel held a charity night which raised £1,400.
Elsewhere, five friends from Hartlepool, who all celebrated birthdays at around the same time, raised £210.
Jean Armstrong arranged a Tea @ 3 party in her garden and raised £260, while Grange Road Methodist Church Ladies Fellowship arranged an evening with Hartlepool Community Choir and raised £430.
Eileen Gardner arranged a sponsored walk when members of St Theresa’s and St Patrick’s Churches walked from St Patrick’s to Seaton Carew. They raised £1,000 for the Hospice.
Freddy Mercury impersonator, Billy West, donated two nights at Ye Olde Durhams club in Hartlepool. Both nights were a sell-out and he raised £2,000.
Teenagers from JHP Employability in Raby Road, Hartlepool held their own tombola and coffee morning, and raised £75.
And Adam and Nathan Dixon are running the Junior Great North Run this year in memory of their Grandad, Eric Dixon, to raise money for the hospice.
