THREE events are to be held next week to promote apprenticeships.
They are being organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Integrated Youth Support Service (IYSS) to mark National Apprenticeship Week which runs from February 7 to 11.
The events will take place at the town’s Brinkburn, Throston and Rossmere youth centres.
Graham Bryson, IYSS planning officer, said: “We hope to have employers in attendance along with some apprentices to share their views on the value of apprenticeships. We also hope to attract local training providers to discuss how they can support both young people and employers.
“In addition, advisers from the IYSS will be on hand to provide guidance to young people, parents and carers and employers.”
The events will be held at Brinkburn Youth Centre on Tuesday, Throston Youth Centre on Wednesday and Rossmere on Thursday. They will all take place between 5pm and 7.30pm.
