KEEN golfers are invited to get into the swing of things by entering Cleveland Fire Brigade’s annual charity golf day.
The fun competition will be held at Wynyard Golf Club on Thursday, July 18, and will raise money for The Fire Fighters’ Charity.
Golfers, in teams of four, will battle it out on the 18-hole course and enjoy a three-course meal in the clubhouse afterwards.
Anyone can enter a team or individuals will be allocated a team when they arrive.
There will be top prizes for the winning teams and players will also be asked to enter a raffle for the chance to claim other prized items.
Ian Hatyon, chief fire officer, said: “Our annual golf day is a great day out for all and is a fantastic opportunity to raise much-needed funds for a very worthwhile cause.
“It is always a great day and we are delighted that Wynyard Golf Club is making available its excellent Wellington course which is a good test for any golfer.
“I really do hope that local businesses, organisations and individuals come forward to support the event to help us raise as much money as possible.”
The event is limited to 72 players or 18 teams and entry is £320 per team or £80 for individuals.
