A SHIATSU expert will be on hand to offer some top tips to mark World Mental health Day next week.
Kirsten Luckins, director and practitioner at Shiatsu Tees, will be at various locations in and around Hartlepool in the build up to the day of awareness, which takes place on October 10.
She will be offering free taster treatments at several locations, hoping to introduce people to the stress-busting benefits of the holistic Japanese acupressure therapy.
Kirsten said: “I am very happy to be involved with these events, as I get great personal satisfaction from working with clients who are experiencing stress, depression and anxiety.
“It’s great to be part of the solution.”
Free shiatsu tasters are available tomorrow from 9am-3pm in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, then between 10am-3pm at The Place in the Park, in Ward Jackson Park.
On Monday, registered carers are invited to Hartlepool Carers Centre from 10am-12.30pm, then on Wednesday there will be a shiatsu demonstration and talk on the subject held at Hartlepool College of Further Education, in Stockton Street.
