FOOTBALL club bosses have unveiled a series of new ticket offers in a bid to tempt fans back to the terraces.
Officials at Hartlepool United Football Club have unveiled two offers called Saturday Savers and Midweek Mix in a move to get more supporters through the turnstiles at Victoria Park.
Attendances have been falling for the past few seasons and less than 3,000 Pools fans witnessed the 1-0 League One defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
To boost attendances fans are being urged to bulk buy their tickets for the remaining home games in two offers focusing on Saturday and midweek fixtures.
Pools have seven midweek matches between now and the end of the season, due to a series of postponements because of the wintry weather, and six Saturday league games left to play.
Fans are now being urged to buy tickets for three Saturday games of their choice for 45, working out at 15 per game.
Supporters currently fork out 18 to stand at Victoria Park and 20 to sit.
Mark Simpson, media manager for Hartlepool United, said: "This offer mirrors a similar one introduced at the end of last season, which proved extremely popular and the club was keen to offer fans another saving this term."
The club have also introduced the Midweek Mix ticket offer, which gives supporters the chance to bulk buy tickets for five of the remaining seven midweek fixtures for as little as 12 per adult per match and 15 for an adult and under 16.
The midweek fixtures will see Pools play the division's leading sides including Charlton Athletic, Southampton and Huddersfield Town.
The offer would see adults sitting in the Cyril Knowles or Niramax stands pay 70 for a five match bundle, which works out at 14 per game, a saving of 6 per match.
Meanwhile, adults standing in the Hartlepool College of Further Education Stand or Niramax terraces would pay 60 for a five match bundle, instead of 90, which works out at 12 per game.
Mr Simpson added: "Due to circumstances beyond all of our control, we have a number of re-arranged fixtures which must now be played midweek.
"We're doing our best to encourage supporters to come along and get behind the lads in these games by introducing a special ticket offer."
Proof of identification must be produced at the time of purchasing an under 16 ticket and the Midweek Mix offer refers to midweek games only and cannot be transferred for Saturday games.
