THERE’S a whole host of new opportunities for Hartlepool people to get involved in sport.
Hartlepool Borough Council’s sport and recreation service is about to launch a new round of Begin 2 sessions covering rugby union, spinning, step aerobics, trampoline and squash.
The fun begins on Monday, June 17, at Hartlepool Rovers Rugby club in West View Road with “pay and play” rugby union coaching for total beginners. Six weekly sessions will take place from 6pm-7.30pm, with each session costing £2.
Begin 2 spin sessions will take place at Headland Sports Hall, beginning on Tuesday June 18. They will be held from 9.15pm-10pm. The cost is £16.50 for six weeks.
Brierton Community Sports Centre is the venue for Begin 2 step aerobics which begins on Wednesday, June 19. Sessions will take place from 10am-11am and will cost £16.50 for six weeks.
Headland Sports Hall will be hosting Begin 2 adult trampoline sessions for six weeks from Wednesday, June 19. There is a charge of £16.50 for six weeks and sessions will take place from 6pm-6.45pm.
Begin 2 squash will take place at Mill House Leisure Centre from Thursday, June 20, with sessions taking place on lunchtimes from 12.20pm-1pm and 1pm-1.40pm. Rackets are available, and sessions costs £2.75 per person.
