YOUNGSTERS will be able to get free rugby training from professional players during half-term sessions.
Rugby Super League leaders Warrington Wolves are heading to the North-East to pass on their skills to east Durham youngsters.
The rugby stars and winners of the 2011 Super League shield will be at the Helford Road Pavilion, in Peterlee, on Wednesday, in partnership with Peterlee Pumas.
The Wolves will be holding a series of training sessions for various age groups and boys and girls.
From noon until 1pm, training will take place for children in school years 2 to 6.
From 1.30pm-2.30pm, there will be a session for Year 7 and 8 boys.
From 3pm-4pm, Year 7 to 11 girls can take part in training and from 4pm-5pm there is a session for Year 9 and 10 boys.
There will be a session for boys from 6.30pm-7.30pm on the site’s NG3 pitch and from 7.30pm-8.30pm, there will be open-to-all touch rugby games.
Youngsters are asked to take along football boots and a change of clothing.
