Appeal after car crash in Hartlepool

POLICE are appealing for information following a car crash in Hartlepool.

The collision took place at the roundabout with Grange Road, on Wooler Road, at around 11.45pm on Saturday, February 21.

It involved a silver Renault Megane which collided with a street sign and a brick wall.

The 43-year-old driver of the vehicle suffered possible internal injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment. His condition is currently described as stable.
