MORE than a thousand people have posted their condolences for tragic Luke Casson on the internet.
A Facebook page called R.I.P Luke Casson was set up after news spread of his death and it has so far attracted more than 1,100 followers.
Luke’s friends and other well-wishers who may not have known him have posted messages of sympathy to the 16-year-old’s family.
Leisa Humphries, from Hutton Henry, contacted the Mail to pass on her condolences to the Casson family.
Leisa said Luke had been at her house about an hour before he died as he was a son of her friend’s and added: “We would be very grateful if you could pass on our sorrow and utter shock for Luke Casson who died on Saturday.
“The whole village is in shock and our hearts go out to his parents Mandy and Rob, we cannot imagine what they are going through at this time.”
On Facebook, one tribute read: “Rip luke! Can remember all the times as kids what a right laugh, gutted that we grew apart! Rip lad :’(“.
Another said: “r.i.p mate, cannot believe your gone .. at a very you age aswell, heart goes out to all your family, gone but never forgotten . sleep tight luke mate !”.
Another posted: “R.I.P luke, you can tell everyone thought the world of you and how much you will be missed.”
Another posted on Sunday said: “It’s going to be a hard day at st.hilds tomorrow but lets just stay strong and be there for one and other. RIP luke X”
A further message read: “Rip Luke you’ll Neva be forgotten only seen ya the other day Neva fort it would be the last.”
