A FREDDIE Mercury tribute act will get into character to help his local hospice.
Billy West from Hartlepool who performs as the Queen frontman, is staging a show in aid of Hartlepool and District Hospice which looked after his mum.
The fundraising night is being held at the Rovers Quoit Club, Easington Road, Hartlepool, on April 27.
All proceeds will go to the hospice in Wells Avenue with raffles and other activities taking place.
Billy, who is marking 20 years as a singer, will do two spots on the night.
He is also appealing for help from town businesses and supporters for potential raffle and auction prizes.
Tickets are £5 available on the door or from the club and hospice.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
