TUNEFUL ladies have sung their hearts out for charity yet again – and there is another chance to catch them in the coming weeks.
The excellent Hartlepool Ladies Choir have just completed their latest concert when they performed for an audience at St Luke’s Church in Billingham.
It follows on from recent performances at the Borough Hall in Hartlepool for the Chairman of the Council’s Charity Concert in April, back at the same venue for their choir’s annual performance in June, and at Grange Road Methodist Church in Hartlepool last month.
Choir member Eileen McConnell said: “The choir are still singing their hearts out.”
She said they received an “enthusiastic reception” at Grange Road Methodist Church.
But for people who have missed out, there is still a chance for people to catch the choir when they perform at St Hilda’s Church in Hartlepool on September 14.
The choir sings a wide range of songs, including pieces from musical theatre, and meets every Thursday from 7pm at Grange Road Methodist Church Community Centre.
