TWO people were taken to hospital after a three-car smash.
Police and paramedics rushed to Brenda Road, in Hartlepool, after receiving reports of the crash at 4.45pm yesterday.
Fortunately nobody was seriously injured in the smash, but two drivers were taken to the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton, by ambulance as a precaution.
A Honda Civic, Citroen C2 and Skoda Octavia were the cars involved.
The road was partially blocked for a short time, but wasn’t closed.
A Cleveland Police spokesman said: “We received calls about a three-car road traffic collision at around 4.45pm.
“Luckily, nobody was seriously injured and there were no arrests.”
