HARTLEPOL once again scorched in red hot temperatures at the weekend - with sunseekers rushing to the beach and the town’s attractions.
The town basked in the sunshine, with temperatures reaching as high as 26C on Saturday on what was the hottest day of the year so far.
The high temperatures continued on Sunday as scores took advantage and headed to the beach.
Seafront sellers were reporting a super high in sales - which was great news for the local economy.
And the hot temperatures are set to continue.
Monday will see high of 23C. Tuesday will rise to a whopping 27C - although some rain is expected.
And forecasters are predicting the sun will keep shining right up to next weekend as the schools head towards the start of the sumnmer holidays.
