PENSIONER Norman Howard, a retired electrician from the Hart Station area of Hartlepool, said his biggest grumble at the minute was the downgrading of the University Hospital of Hartlepool.
The 72–year–old dad–of–three and grandad–of–six said: “I don’t think it should be done.
“There are too many people in the area and it should still always be there.
“I’ve never been to North Tees hospital myself but members of my family have. I find it a bit of a drag. Hartlepool should have its own hospital.”
