A BEACH volleyball game saw children right up to OAPs having fun and taking part.
Hartlepool Volleyball Club, Cleveland Fire Brigade and Hartlepool Sports Development organised the beach volleyball taster session at Seaton Carew.
The fun session saw a number of amateurs, some who had never played before, taking part and having afun time.
And the friendly game was such a success that the organisers are considering making it a regular feature of the summer holidays for all to enjoy.
Graeme Waller, a member of Hartlepool Volleyball Club and Cleveland Fire Brigade, said: “The taster session at Seaton Carew proved very popular. We had children as young as nine all the way up to a granny playing.
“It was so successful that we’re thinking of making this a regular event over the summer holidays.”
Anyone interested in playing volleyball in the town should contact the club through the Hartlepool Volleyball Club Facebook page.
