HERE is the latest league table in our annual Shop for Schools contest.
It shows that shoppers at Hartlepool’s Middleton Grange Shopping Centre are keen to help their favourite schools earn free educational prizes.
The town’s Ward Jackson School is still out in front with Kingsley in second and Springwell close behind in third.
Do not worry though if your chosen school is low down the table.
The beauty of Shop for Schools is that everyone is a winner and points scores will eventually be divided by school rolls to ensure smaller entrants do not suffer unfairly.
There is also still plenty of time to back your school before the competition closes on June 30.
The idea behind Shop for Schools, which is run in association with the shopping complex, is simple.
Take receipts from the centre to Middleton Grange’s information stand where they will be stamped and returned with points vouchers at a rate of one per pound spent.
This doubles on Sundays with three points per pound spent available on bank holiday Mondays.
These vouchers can be immediately placed in individually-marked letterboxes on the desk.
The more points your school earns then the greater the value of prizes they receive.
The prizes on offer include computers, sports equipment and books.
The Mail will also help you along your way with a series of bonus points vouchers.
Please remember that photocopies of these tokens will not be accepted.
