DEDICATED residents determined to get into shape have rushed to sign up for a new competition – but there’s still chance for you to get involved.
As revealed in the Mail last week, we are launching a new competition in conjunction with Tavistock Leisure and personal trainer Steven Smith, giving you the chance to get into shape and win a top prize.
Our eight week competition, named Weigh Forward, gives residents in Hartlepool and East Durham the opportunity to change their life for the better in Olympic year.
And within days of the competition being launched, four dedicated people have already registered and booked their spot in the competition.
The weight-loss contest will start in the coming weeks with the contestants being split into two teams.
All of the participants will benefit from personal training with expert Steven Smith, who will keep a close eye on each entrant and personally shape their exercise regime.
And the hard work will all be worth is as the winner of the competition will receive a hotel stay and personal training with Steven for two months absolutely free.
A runner-up will also be celebrating.
As well as getting into shape, they will receive a month’s supply of personal training.
So what are you waiting for.
If you want to mark Olympic year by getting into shape or losing some weight, sign up now.
Steven said: “It’s fantastic to hear we have already had four people sign up, but there’s still chance for others to take advantage of this opportunity.
