If you're looking to visit Santa on a Saturday, you can catch him every Saturday from now until December 20 at St Luke’s Church Hall, St Luke’s Terrace, Pallion. The Christmas lights in the area were switched on on Friday, and the spirit is well and truly in the swing!

He will be available every weekend in December - and with hot chocolate and marshmallows on the menu, what's not to love? As well as chatting to Mr Christmas, you can post your Christmas letters, meet Mrs Claus and have a tour.

Visit Santa's Winter Woodland at West Boldon Lodge throughout December, at various times across various dates. Enjoy the festivities on December 5, 6, 12, 13, and 19 until 23. Tickets are £13.50 for the whole Woodland, and there are start times from 10am through until 3pm.

Good cheer and tidings of joy are coming to Middleton Grange Shopping Centre on November 22 - and they'll be there until Christmas Eve.
