A woman suffered multiple injuries after she was knocked down by a car in Hartlepool
The incident happened on Marina Way, at about 6.15pm yesterday.
A female pedestrian was struck by a silver Ford B-Max on the westbound carriageway, near to McDonald's.
She suffered a broken leg, pelvis and ribs, as well as head injuries, and was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Pc Mark Taylor from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 201392.
