YOUNG Hartlepool United fans are reminded they can snap up a season ticket for just £50 – and while they are at the ticket office they can treat their dad to the perfect Father’s Day gift.

Under 19s can take advantage of the club’s bargain offer as they try to hit their target of 4,000 season ticket holders.

While adult fans will get their tickets for just £100 if the club hits the target, the youngsters will be able to watch their team for £50 for the season – working out only £2.17 a game.

Club bosses have reminded fans that the sales of the under-19 tickets are registered in the race to 4,000.

A club spokesman said: “For £2.17 a game I don’t think you will find better value for money anywhere in the football league.

“We are really doing our best to make it affordable to watch football and youngsters can take advantage of our offer and help us reach the target of 4,000 season ticket holders.”

With Father’s Day fast approaching, the cheap season ticket may also prove to be an ideal present.

“If people are struggling for a gift for Father’s Day then this could be perfect,” added the spokesman.

“There aren’t many dads out there who don’t like football and I think it would certainly put the children in their good books.”

People can snap up their season tickets from the ticket office, at Victoria Park.

The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
