YOUR PICTURES: Tom’s taste of nostalgia at Beamish

Tom Kirby just loves to turn the clock back with his selection of images.

And he has done it again with these nostalgic scenes which all come from Beamish.

Tom is a regular visitor to the tourist attraction and uses it as a great source of inspiration for his photography. Once again, they have made for a wonderfully nostalgic photo feature.

Our thanks go to Tom for another great selection of photographs. We hope it inspires other people to submit their own work.

We want to hear from as many photographers as possible, each wanting to have their work feature on our pages.

We want pictures on any theme, landscapes or portraits, events or wildlife.

Send an email with details about yourself, such as your age, name and background on your family, occupation, interests and hobbies – plus a photograph of yourself.

Also, send us nine or 10 examples of your photography work and we will make sure you get the publicity your efforts deserve.

So come on you talented lot. Get in touch and let’s show the world just how skilled our local camera men and women are.

To get involved, contact head of features Chris Cordner at or on (0191) 5017473.
