LETTER: No need for lectures

I FIND Jim Allan’s ramblings and quotes, never his own, boring.

His letter (Mail, November 3) regarding the University Hospital of Hartlepool, as with most of his letters – whatever the subject, puts me in mind of a school teacher trying to instil some sense into a class of unruly children.

We, the people of Hartlepool, need our hospital to be fully functional, complete with A&E.

We do not need Jim Allan telling us we cannot have it because of all the reasons he quotes.

Alan Cook,

Hartlepool.
