None so blind

Have your say

I have recently been asked the question, are you voting to stay in the EU?

My clear answer is no.

Forty years ago I voted to join the Common Market.

Since then it has developed into the EU. I resent that.

We are dictated to by a parliament I did not vote for.

I have already voted for a parliament, and that is based in the Houses of Parliament in London, not Brussels.

We now have very little control of our borders.

When Turkey joins the EU we will have even less.

We are a small island and our infra-structure is struggling.

The scaremongers are saying we will suffer on account of the trade which we will lose.

We have already lost a lot of jobs due to EU ruling.

The EU countries are the ones who will suffer if we leave.

Why should we be paying millions into the EU when our hospitals, schools and infrastructure are crying out for investment?

We seemed to do really well before we joined.

Will other countries decide to not trade with us if we leave?

I think we should ask America, New Zealand and Australia, just to name a few.

I want the UK to make its own decisions and not be told by the EU Parliament what we can and cannot do.

There are none so blind as those that will not see.
