Those men of steel who went missing and disappeared off the radar on shore,
Still practice their trade in the North Sea, drilling deep into mother earth’s core.
Along with the science and geologists, they’re searching for the elusive oil.
Facing the most dangerous elements, as from morning till evening they toil.
Deep into the earth’s crust they’re drilling, through limestone, granite and shale.
Learning the secrets of the deepest oceans, whilst facing hurricanes, storms and gales.
Those secrets have been hidden for aeons,
For oceans never give secrets away.
They don’t like to talk to us humans, we left them at the dawn of our day.
