Thanks for all your support
The kennels accept dogs from Middlesbrough, Durham and Hartlepool dog wardens. It is run by a vet who does not euthanise dogs when the period paid by the respective council is at an end. They move to her side of the kennels to await a new owner. If veterinary treatment is required when the dogs arrive, they get it.
Before a dog goes to a new home it is spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and wormed.

I would also like to pay tribute to Sue Chritchlow whose help before the event and during it was invaluable.I would have found it very difficult to manage without her.
After expenses for the above evening, the amount given to the kennels was £678. 70.
Animals cannot thank you but I can, on their behalf, which I do, most sincerely.
