AFTER reading the Rift House newsletter and discovering that Councillor Gladys Worthy is to retire, I would like to pay a tribute to the lady for her dedication to the ward, and her assistance in the detail she gave me in my inquiries, to the welfare of the people of my section of the estate.

You will be sorely missed, Gladys, for your attention to detail in the handling of many problems concerning our ward, and we will not forget you for your efforts.

Enjoy your retirement, for truly you have been “worthy” by name and certainly by nature.

Masefield Road,
