A Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) poster has been displayed in a Hartlepool school.
It stated: “Our school provides dairy products subsidised by the European Union under the European school milk scheme.”
One of my ward residents complained to me that this was our money, given back to us to promote the EU in the time leading up to the chance to vote to leave the EU.
We pay £55m to the EU every day.
We have the chance to vote to leave. Let’s do so then.
Among other things, we can buy our schools milk direct and, I’m sure, put the rest of the money we pay to them every year to good use for the people of the UK.
