SUNDERLAND are today reported to be facing a tussle with Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers over Danny Shittu.
Roy Keane wants to sign the big Watford centre-back, but faces competition from the two Scottish Premier League rivals, according to the Daily Star.

The 27-year-old was signed from QPR two years ago, and Watford are facing a struggle to keep hold of him.

Keane is said to be weighing up a move for Shittu, who both the Old Firm have expressed an interest in, if his bid to sign Jonny Evans permanently from Manchester United doesn't come off.

Chairman Graham Simpson said: "We have had enquiries from Premier League clubs, but no offers yet."
