SUNDERLAND manager Roy Keane is today being linked with a move for Celtic left-back Lee Naylor.
According to the News of the World, the former Manchester United captain has tabled a £2m bid for the 28-year-old, which has been accepted.

Bloxwich-born Naylor joined Wolves on leaving school, and was part of the team promoted to the Premier League in 2003 via the play-offs.

He was Wolves' only ever-present in the 2003/4 campaign in the top flight, and was also capped by England Under-21s.

He moved to Parkhead in August 2006 for £600,000 and immediately became first-choice left back.

His form was recognised with a nomination for the Scottish Professional Footballers' Association's player of the year award for 2007.

He won the League and Cup double in his first season with the club and appeared in all their UEFA Champions League games.

Naylor's Premier League and European experience means he fits the bill of the kind of player Keane is looking to recruit.
