DYNAMO Kiev are waiting in the wings to make an immediate move for Dorin Goian should his proposed move to Sunderland break down.
The Ukranian club are keen on the Romanian international centre-half but know that the player himself is holding out for a move to Wearside and the Premier League.

Today there was still no sign of a breakthrough as Goian's club, Steaua Bucharest continued to look at how it could recover VAT it had hoped to avoid on the proposed 4million euro deal.

Goian is desperate for the move to go through and his agent Peter Harrison says the 28-year-old is excited by the prospective move to Sunderland.

But it remains to be seen whether the deal will go through and with Dynamo Kiev now joining several other interested parties, there should be no shortage of buyers for the experienced defender if the Sunderland move fails to come off.
