AMANDA Coulson was today looking to win a third international final place in a row.
The Hartlepool boxer, runner up at the Amherst Comet Cup in Turkey and the EU Championship in Liverpool, is through to the semi-finals of the Witch Cup.

The 24-year-old will meet Holland's Marichelle de Jong in Hungary this evening.

Coulson reached the last four when she demolished Sabrina Kiralova last night.

The Bulgarian had no answer to the accuracy and power of the Catholic Club boxer.

Coulson started off superbly, racing into a 6-0 lead after just one minute and when the referee imposed a standing eight count on Kiralova, the Bulgarian corner threw in the towel.

"It was nice to get a good win," said Coulson. "I'm very pleased with that.

"I've reached my last two finals and had to bring silver medals back to Hartlepool.

"This time I want gold but I know I've got to beat the Dutch girl before I can think about the final.

"I feel I've been improving and boxing well and I must put in a good performance in my semi-final."
