Pools set for big transfer scoop

HARTLEPOOL United boss Danny Wilson is set to swoop for a goalscoring midfielder.
Pools were today linked with a move for Ayr midfielder Ryan Stevenson, who has scored an impressive 15 goals for the Scottish Division Two side this season.
Stevenson was thought to be in line for a return to former club St Johnstone, but has indicated he is keen for a move to England, with Pools his preferred destination.
