AMBITIOUS Amanda Coulson must translate domestic dominance into the international arena.
The Hartlepool boxer may today be celebrating her fourth national title but she knows that if she has any hope of making the Olympic team she has to now win abroad.
Coulson yesterday clinched the ABA Championship in Mansfield when she outpointed Great Britain team-mate Ruther Raper.
But main GB rival Natasha Jonas would appear to be in pole position for the lightweight spot which Coulson craves at London 2012.
Jonas has just returned from the European Union Championship in Poland, where she struck gold in the U64 kilo category.
While it is the division above the Olympic weight, success in such a tournament merely strengthened the Scouser’s lead in the race for London.
