BOXING brothers Danny, Luke and Adam Cope punched their way to a belting hat-trick.

The Hartlepool fighting family captured the headlines on the Gus Robinson Developments ABC show at the Corporation Club last night.

Luke, the youngest of the fighting trio, kicked off the treble with a unanimous points victory before Adam also got the verdict of the judges.

Danny then capped a great night for the Copes by winning the top-of-the-bill bout against Gary Reed from Empire ABC.

The Gus Robinson team won five of their six bouts – National Schoolboys championship finalist Ryan Brown and senior boxer Dwayne Douglas both earned their decisions but team-mate Chris Noble was beaten on points.

“All the lads boxed extremely well,” said Gus Robinson coach Tony Martin.
