Hartlepool boxing star Peter Cope hopes to shine on December 10 as he goes into the fourth contest of his professional career.
The 20-year-old Gus Robinson Developments trained boxer will be on the bill at Peterlee Leisure Centre and the Sky cameras will be turned on.
Even though ‘Copey’ is still unsure of his opponent he has not taken any time out of preparing for the contest.
The youngster has been in the gym since his last fight against Ryan McNicoll when Peter was a little disappointed after the Rainton Meadows show but knows where to improve.
He told SportMail: “I know where I went wrong so I have just worked really hard in the gym.
“I feel the best I ever had at the minute and there’s still four weeks to go.
“I’m feeling stronger and fitter so I will be on top form no matter who turns up.
“I’m looking forward to getting in the ring because I love boxing and the whole build up to a show.”
