SAVANNAH Marshall tonight added the World Combat Games title to her collection of gold medals.
The Hartlepool superstar outclassed, outfought and outpointed Qian Li in the middleweight final in St Petersburg.
After a slow start, Marshall went into overdrive and had too much skill and speed for the 23-year-old from China.
All three judges gave the decision to the Headland ABC ace who did not lose a single round in the whole competition.
The 22-year-old went into the prestigious event in Russia as the reigning World and European Union champion and this success confirmed her place at the top of the women’s game at U75 kilos.
Her coach Tim Counter said: “She was absolutely brilliant.
“When I watched the Chinese girl win her semi-final I thought she was fast.
“But Savannah was even quicker.”
