Hartlepool return to league action on Saturday when they travel to fellow strugglers Marske.
They will be keen to put behind them a couple of turbulent weeks which has seen them crash out of two cup competitions and put in some poor league performances.
As a result they have slipped down the league table, despite having played one game more than most of the league.
Pool will be hopeful they can put together a much stronger performance at Marske, another team who are not performing to their capabilities.
Pool are able to change their side around a little, despite losing Mike Yuill to a broken thumb which he suffered in last weekend’s defeat against Richmond.
Chris Harrison, James Johnston and Anth Fawcett all return to the first team, while Alan Tebbett drops into the second team.
It’s likely that James Johnston will keep wicket, allowing Pool to have an array of bowlers at their disposal.
Marc Symington is now able to bowl conservatively following a cartilage tear, and with Johnson behind the stumps, his brother Craig can also bowl.
They will also have Callum Prosser, Josh Cannon, Anth Fawcett, Adam Greenwell and Jon Rickard available to turn their arm over too
Neil Coverdale, Rickard, the Symington brothers, Jack Wilkinson, Johnston and Harrison will all be keen to add a big score to their statistics on a ground which favours the batsman and usually has a lightning fast outfield.
Windy Hill Lane is certainly one of the highest scoring grounds around and if the weather stays dry, Pool can expect to be involved in a high scoring shoot out.
