HARTLEPOOL travel to Normanby Hall on Saturday knowing a good result could leave them just two games away from the Premier League title.

With three games remaining Pool are sat 18 points clear of Marton and Richmondshire, with all three teams facing tough games this weekend.

Pool face their hardest test in recent weeks as they come up against a Normanby Hall side who were contenders for the title until just a few weeks ago.

Normanby have two familiar faces in their side with ex-Pool professionals Graham Shaw and Jimmy Gunarathne.

Gunarathne has been inspirational since his arrival on Teesside, scoring three league centuries already.

Gunarathne had been lined up to play for Pool again last year but had to withdraw from his contract after he was selected to play for Sri Lanka A.

His wicket will be pivotal to Pool as they search for victory.

Pool are able to name another strong side, with Monday’s team once again being picked for this weekend.

Kas Bodhisha and Marc Symington played the starring roles on the Bank Holiday Monday.
