ANDREW Taylor’s Wembley winner’s medal dreams were dashed when Liverpool lifted the Carling Cup following a dramatic penalty shootout.

The Hartlepool-born star was part of a brave Cardiff City side which took their Premier League opponents the full distance following a 2-2 draw in yesterday’s final.
