HARTLEPOOL’S Sunday League may have just finished another exciting season – but are already looking ahead to the next one.

League bosses are looking for new clubs for the 2014-15 programme.

Written applications, along with a £5 fee must be sent to: John Cooper, 31 Amberton Road, Hartlepool, TS24 8LT, to arrive by May 15.

“We’ve already had some interest about joining the league,” said Cooper. “We’d welcome more sides and if anyone is interested, I’d ask them to contact me soon.”

The league are also looking for local businesses to sponsor the three divisions, the Premier, First and Second tiers, and also the Second Division Cup.

Interested parties should contact John Cooper on (01429) 270709 or 07946 716806 or e-mail Johncooper@hartlepoolsundayleague.org.

Throston Wanderers completed the double at the weekend, adding the John Dowson Cup to the Premier Division title after beating Lion Hillcarter 4-3 at Grayfields.
