Hartlepool United fans will yet again embark on a final day fancy dress adventure - this year as Stormtroopers.
Following on from Smurfs, penguins, Thunderbirds and Oompa Loompas in recent years, it has become a tradition for hundreds of Pools fans travelling to the last away game of the season to don fancy dress costumes to see the season off in style.
And this year is no different, with the Star Wars theme assigned to Pools fans making the long trip to Plymouth on Saturday, May 7.
This is not the first time the annual dress-up has taken them to Home Park, as organiser John Pearson explained.
He said: "Two years ago we sent the Thunderbirds to offer Colin Cooper’s squad International Rescue at Plymouth.
"This year, with Plymouth potentially going for automatic promotion, it’s felt we need to send a stronger ‘force’ to match up to their Green Army!"
We take a look at previous years when Pools fans have hit the national spotlight embarking on their end of season trip.
