Behan set to leave Pools?

STRIKER Denis Behan could be on his way out of Hartlepool United.

The Irishman's former club Cork City want to take the bustling striker back on loan.

Cork City boss Tommy Dunne told Irish radio station Red Fm sport: "I've made inquiries about Denis and I spoke to the manager (Mick Wadsworth] and he's going back to his chief executive and needs to find out the feasibility of it and the financial side of it.

"He also told that there are quite a few games that Hartlepool have over the next number of weeks. I think they have six o seven games in the next two weeks, so nothing will be decided before then. He'll have to come back to me now on whether it's viable or not."

Behan was a star in the League of Ireland and made a bright impression when he joined Pools in the 2009-10 season, becoming an instant fans favourite.

But injuries have hit Behan hard and this season has struggled for fitness and form.
