Jonathan Franks has today signed for Scottish Premier League side Ross County after turning down the chance to stay at Hartlepool United.
Franks had been offered reduced terms by Pools boss Ronnie Moore and has spent the past few weeks trying to find a new club.
He follows in the footsteps of former Pools left-back Darren Holden, who signed for Ross County earlier this week.
Franks has signed a two-year deal with the Scottish Premier League side.
Franks had spent time on trial at League One side Scunthorpe United in recent weeks after being offered reduced terms by Pools.
The 25-year-old signed for Pools in the summer of 2012 and went on to make 143 appearances for the club, during which he found the net sixteen times.
A Pools spokesman added: “Everyone at Hartlepool United would like to wish him all the very best for the future.”
