Ronnie Moore will tune into BBC 2 tonight at 7pm with just one wish – a home draw in the FA Cup second round.

Pools made it into the hat – but only just as they scrapeed home with a 1-0 win over Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

How we did it? I don’t know. But we’re there and we’re thankful.

“Let’s hope for a home draw,” said the Pools boss, who had sympathy for Robins boss Gary Johnson

“We were like the away side on Saturday which disappoints us, but we are there in the hat.

“How we did it? I don’t know. But we’re there and we’re thankful.

“It’s more money for the club getting through.

“If I was Gary I wouldn’t be too happy but they have every chance of getting back into the League that’s for sure.”
