RONNIE Moore and Scott Harrison have been nominated for League Two gongs after Hartlepool United climbed out of the relegation zone.
Moore is up for the Sky Bet League Two manager of the month for March, while former Sunderland defender Harrison has been named on the shortlist for the player of the month.
Pools were staring relegation in the face just four weeks ago, nine points adrift before the 1-0 win at Morecambe which sparked a four-game winning streak.
That saw Pools move out of the danger zone to third bottom, where they currently sit with five matches of the campaign to go.
Moore is competing against Burton Albion’s Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Bury’s David Flitcroft and Wycombe Wanderers’ Gareth Ainsworth.
Meanwhile, Harrison has been at the heart of the Pools defence and he also scored the winner in the 2-1 win over Cambridge United.
Harrison is up against Dagenham’s Billy Bingham, Burton’s Jon McLaughlan and Shrewsbury’s Bobby Grant.
A judging panel will assess each of the candidates this week.
The winners will be announced this Friday, April 10.
