HARTLEPOOL United boss Colin Cooper is confident of at least one breakthrough in the transfer market by early next week.
The Pools boss has been working hard behind the scenes to strengthen his squad and is confident that he is moving nearer to completing a deal.
“We’ve had a good week,” said Cooper.
“There is nothing done but I would like to think that we have two things that will be completed over the weekend or early next week which will be good for the club.”
Speaking on the club’s website, he added: “I am also waiting on a phonecall from somebody else who we feel will be another exciting addition.
“I am looking for loans mainly but if we can get one in permanently I’ll be delighted.”
