HARTLEPOOL United boss Ronnie Moore admits he is “monitoring” the situation of former loanee Matty Dolan at Bradford City.

Moore has told SportMail he is keeping close tabs on the 21-year-old but admits bringing in another midfielder is not a priority at the moment.

Hartlepool-born Dolan re-signed for Pools on a month-long loan deal at the end of November but injured his hamstring in the warm up of Moore’s first game in charge, the 1-1 draw at home to Oxford United and was sent back to the Bantams.

He is now approaching full fitness again.

Moore said: “I haven’t seen too much of Matty but I will monitor what is going on down there [at Bradford].

“The midfield area doesn’t look too bad at this present moment and we only have two more loans, one of which will be a striker, so that leaves me with one.

“It is a headache.

“There is food for thought there but it will all depend on what is available.”
