Hartlepool United face a daunting month on the road in March after a new date was set for the postponed Newport County game.
Pools were due to play the fixture last Saturday but it was called off on the morning of the game due to a waterlogged pitch at Rodney Parade.
A new date has now been set, with Ronnie Moore’s side travelling to Newport on Tuesday, March 15 (KO 7.45pm).
The original fixture was due to be played on Saturday 2nd January but was called off on the morning of the game due to a waterlogged pitch at Rodney Parade.
Tickets for the original League Two fixture are still valid for the new date, while full refunds are available for those who are now unable to make the game.
It means Pools now face five long away trips to Bristol Rovers, Barnet, Crawley, Newport County and Leyton Orient in the space of four weeks.
Meanwhile, Pools’ Youth Alliance match with Oldham Athletic has also fallen victim to the weather.
The game, which was due to be played on Saturday 9th January (KO noon), has this morning been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The two clubs have worked quickly to arrange a new date for the fixture and it will now be played on Saturday 26th March (KO Noon).
