Hartlepool United's season ticket sale has reached its first milestone.

Fan Mark Tait this afternoon became the 100th purchaser of a 2017-18 season ticket

Mark is in his fourth decade as a Pools fan, going back to the Billy Horner era! He was thrilled to learn he’d been handed squad number 100 for the new campaign.

“It was a big surprise when I was told,” said Mark in an interview with www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk.

“I was always going to get a season ticket for next year because I am quite curious about the new teams we will play and the different cup competitions we’ll be playing in.

“I am looking forward to the appointment of a new manager and some positive signings – and hopefully we can get Jeff Stelling back as the honorary president too!”

Mark has been a season ticket holder for the last four seasons and attends game in the Camerons Cyril Knowles Stand with his three cousins.

Pools have frozen season ticket prices from last season and average out over the season, admission is less than £11 per match.

The club have also made available a Zebra Finance option too for those wishing to buy a ticket.

Season tickets are on sale now from the ticket office at the Northern Gas & Power Stadium and online at www.hufc-tickets.co.uk

Early Bird Prices (available until 30th June): Adults: £250, Senior citizens/students: £150; Under 19: £120; Under 16: £75
