HARTLEPOOL United have been rocked by a quadruple injury blow.
Mick Wadsworth was robbed of three first-team players on the eve of Saturday’s FA Cup game with Stevenage.
Sam Collins (calf), Colin Nish (knee) and James Brown (groin) all pulled up in training on Friday and were immediately ruled out of the first-round tie.
That followed a set-back in the recovery of Colin Larkin (knee) who has been sidelined since the end of August.
Pools will learn more on the extent of the injuries to Friday’s stricken trio over the course of the next 48 hours but they are rated highly doubtful for the weekend trip to Scunthorpe United.
